Creamy Chicken and Curry Sauce

A delicious creamy chicken and curry sauce that is absolutely finger-licking good.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. First fry the onion in oil. Once it becomes translucent add the garlic.

  2. Immediately after that add the yogurt or sour cream together with the chicken.

  3. Let it simmer gently for a while.

  4. Add salt, pepper, curry and hot paprika and let it cook a little longer.

  5. If you do not have sour cream, use yogurt, cream cheese spread and half a glass of milk.

  6. If you have sour cream, use one large container.

  7. If you are using raw chicken, cook it a bit longer. We often buy ready roasted chicken and use the white meat for sauces like this. That kind of chicken is ready in only 10–15 minutes.

  8. While the sauce is simmering, prepare water for rice or pasta and add half a teaspoon of salt.

  9. Once the rice or pasta is cooked, take a few tablespoons of the cooking water and add it into the sauce, then mix well.

  10. Everything is now ready to serve.

Tip

This is truly finger-licking good.
