Poppy Seed and Yogurt Cake with Chocolate

A delicious and moist cake made with poppy seeds, yogurt and chocolate that is very easy to prepare.

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together, starting with the yogurt, and then use the yogurt cups to measure the remaining ingredients.

  2. You do not even need a mixer because everything can be mixed with a spoon or wooden spatula in just a few minutes.

  3. Grease the baking tray with oil or butter.

  4. Pour the mixture into the tray and bake at 160°C for about 40 minutes.

  5. Every oven bakes differently, so test the cake with a toothpick or knife to make sure it is baked inside.

Glaze

  1. On low heat first melt the butter and sugar together.

  2. Then add chocolate and milk.

  3. Stir constantly so the glaze does not burn.

  4. Pour the glaze over the cake.

Tip

These poppy seed cake squares taste even better once fully cooled because they become even juicier.
