My family loves fish, and salmon is excellent because it almost has no bones.
From one large salmon fillet we usually get several meals. The first meal is dinner when we bake the whole fillet for 4 people, and the leftovers are saved for the next day. We often use the remaining salmon for risotto or pasta as well.
Oil the baking tray and place the salmon inside.
Turn the salmon a few times in the tray so it becomes coated with oil, then add a little more oil on top.
Gently run your fingers over the salmon and remove any bones you may find.
Add salt and pepper.
Pour in half a glass of water and cover with foil.
Bake for about 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes.
This dish goes perfectly with cooked rice seasoned only with salt and turmeric to give it a light yellow color.
Serve with a salad of your choice.
